is a co-founder of conject and responsible for public relations, event management, and HR development. In particular, she is largely responsible for the success of the annual ILM Conference, which was initiated by conject. Prior to conject, Elke Tonscheidt served as spokesperson for the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Berlin, where she led the PR activities. From 1993 to 1998 she worked in the press department and as deputy spokesperson for the CDU, one of the two largest political parties in Germany. In 1990 she established the press office of the minister for social affairs in the state of Saxony. Elke Tonscheidt studied political science, economics, and sociology in Münster and Bonn, during which time she also worked for various newspapers and radio broadcasters.
