... of conjectPM in action!

Project Management: IKEA

IKEA's plans are ambitious: In Kamen near Dortmund, construction on a furnishing house with 29,000m² gross floor space began on April 5th, 2004; the grand opening of which took place on November 24th, 2004. As a result, IKEA was able to complete construction in the shortest amount of time ever for a house of this size. How was the project team set up and equipped to be able to make such an achievement? You can achieve this pace carrying out your project with conjectPM!

Project Development: Sonae Sierra

"Through the uniform project structure, we quickly get settled into projects and their requirements. Our partner companies are thrilled with the prompt availability of planning documentation."

Since 2002, the Portuguese company, Sonae Sierra, has been using conjectPM for project development to support its successful expansion in Europe and South America. From the start, all relevant documents have been filed in a structure which is uniform across projects, and roughly reflects the company structure. Departments can access the desired results without major introduction to either the project or the product, regardless of their location. Language differences thus have no influence from the start on the inner-European exchange of knowledge. The project structure exists in every case in English and is available in the language of the country where the project is located. Knowledge is exchanged transparently and all data is available centrally even after a halt and/or resumption in development.

"Optimal execution of projects is first possible through the use of conject's project development technology."

Project Management: BMW

"All data is instantly available to all project participants - each according to his respective rights - providing a level of transparency that allows consistent documentation of planning without media disruptions"

Production halls and offices for the BMW Works in Leipzig were completed as planned. That was at the end of 2003. Now it was time to step back and take stock. Those responsible for the project took a meticulous look: Was execution of the project efficient and what were its results? Where could time and money have been saved, what could be improved or changed in the future? Project directors and building owners wanted to know exactly and came to the conclusion: "An extremely cost-effective tool."

Project Management: Allianz Immobilien

"This has never been carried out in Europe in this form until now."

It is obvious that thorough coordination of the project processes and workflows using conjectPM should include all project participants if possible. Within conjectPM "Taunusanlage" (Taunus facilities), there are over 170 participants with a data volume of approx. 34 gigabytes. As a result, all planning processes and documentation are documented comprehensively, efficiency increases many times over. Large amounts of data can be managed trouble-free and clearly displayed. With the support of fully developed and constantly optimized functions, all those involved can access the information intended for them at any time and from any place.

Knowledge Transfer: DDU

The Deutsche Diabetiker Union (DDU/German Diabetic Union) is carrying out knowledge transfer on the subject of Diabetes mellitus with conjectPM. Task forces for supply, research and development, as well as prevention are able to exchange documents, studies, strategies, programs, campaigns, ideas and consultations amongst each other. Projects and studies can be started from the forum at any time. Presently, over 200 members of the "Nationale Aktionsforum Diabetes mellitus" (NAFDM/National Action Forum on Diabete mellitus) are taking advantage of the secure workspace. As a result, the DDU is representative of the many associations and companies handling complete transfer of knowledge, results and tasks across many locations. Synergies are used to access untapped potential.
