All the attachments that you store this way will be assigned the same metadata and location, but you are able to change the file name individually. Of course, all existing upload checks are also done here.

Search for a transaction

You will be able to search for transactions in the same way as you’re used to searching for messages. As soon as one message within a transaction contains the search term, the transaction is shown as result. Starting your search request you can find your search term within the sender, recipients, content, subject and category fields of messages. It is also possible to limit your search to a recipient or sender.



Share a transaction with a new recipient

Would you like a new recipient to be informed about the previous discussion in the transaction? Now it´s quite easy – conjectPM detects when a new recipient is addressed and adds all attachments of the transaction to your message once again. Don’t worry, you will be informed by a hint. You will see attachments on the attachments tab and are able to delete some or add more.

Did you already know about the „Transactions“ in the communication module?



With the new release we offer you even more transaction functionalities:

You can answer (1) a message of a transaction directly or forward (2) the whole transaction. Upon clicking “Forward all“ you can send the complete content of a transaction (all text contents and attachments of the messages) to a new recipient in one step.
 
Finish transaction (3) marks the transaction as finished so it not displayed in your default view any more. All messages of the transactions will be archived, and finished transactions can be accessed in the filter "Finished" at any time.
 
Printing of a whole transaction (4) including all messages is now also possible.



A further feature is mark as unread which marks all contained messages as unread.
 
To make your experience working with the transaction view more comfortable, the last used view inside the communication module (either Transactions or Messages) is kept. So if you prefer the transaction view you do not need to select it each time – the system remembers your last view.

New versions of browsers necessitate adjustments, because e.g. the display of single panes could be different. Now you can use conjectPM under Firefox 3 like you are used to.

What does that mean for you?

Explorer Integration:

Now you can access project related documents directly within the Windows Explorer using web folders. You can either directly process those documents or easily copy those via "drag & drop" in to the required directory. When saving the document a new version is created automatically within the project room.

Documents now do not need to be down- and uploaded for modification. The document can be modified directly within the project room. No need to remember uploading the new version so it's available to everybody. Which operating systems support Web-Folders?

 MS Office Integration:

Opening and saving of MS office documents into the project room now works directly from within MS Office (or other applications which support WebDav or with Vista OS).

That the project room can seamlessly integrate into you daily work - the additional local storage of documents is not required anymore. Important documents cannot be overwritten or deleted accidentally, as a new version is created automatically when the document is saved.
