Overview System Requirements
Do you support Windows Vista and Windows 7? Are there any functional limitations?
Besides Windows 2000 and Windows XP conjectPMpm. is an internet-based project space connecting project managers, architects, investors and all other participants of a construction project. supports Windows Vista and Windows 7 as well. Depending on your System Configuration the following minor functional limitations may occur:
Some Java versions are not completely compatible with Vista and Windows 7. Therefore download the latest Java version:

If you use the "User Account Control (UAC)" of Vista or Windows 7, the following functions may in some cases (depending on your system settings) work with limitations only:
- Online Edit
- Online Meeting
- Multi Download
To use these functions properly please deactivate the "User Account Control (UAC)" in the Control Panel. If you need help please ask your IT-Administrator.

How can I prevent Firefox to open a second and empty window?
When you login or click on a link in a notification Firefox browser always opens a second and empty window. To change this browser behaviour change the following setting:
- Open Firefox.
- Type in "about:config" in the address line and confirm the security prompt.
- Type in "dom.allow" in the "Filter" input line
- The item dom.allow_scripts_to_close_windows is now shown
- Click on the item to mark it and then do a double click.
- The "Value" column now shows the value "true".
- Now close all Firefox windows to save this settings.
I am a Macintosh or Linux user! Can I use the conjectPM?
Besides Windows XP or Windows 2000 you can use conjectPMpm. is an internet-based project space connecting project managers, architects, investors and all other participants of a construction project. with Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) and the Firefox Browser 3.x or 6.x.
Other operating systems like Linux are not supported presently.
How can I configure Internet Explorer to work optimal with conjectPM? Can I add conject to the Trusted Sites of the Internet Explorer?
Adding conject to the "Trusted Sites" of your Internet Explorer requires least settings to set up your PC to work optimally with conjectPMpm. is an internet-based project space connecting project managers, architects, investors and all other participants of a construction project.. Proceed as follows:
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Select "Internet Options" from the "Tools" menu.
- Select the "Trusted Sites" web content zone on the "Security" tab.
- Open the trusted sites form by clicking on the "Sites" button below.
- Disable the checkbox "Require server verification ..." at the bottom of the next window.
- Enter the web site *.conject.com in the upper input line and click on "Add". Your entry appears in the window below.
- Accept the changes by clicking on "Close".
- Save the new settings by clicking on "Apply" or "OK".
Note for all Internet Explorer 7 users:
With version 7 of the Internet Explorer the Pop-up Blocker is not disabled inside the "Trusted Sites" zone using the default setting "Medium" as security level. Click on "Custom Level ...", scroll to the "Use Pop-up Blocker" item and change the setting to "Disabled".

Online Installation (only Windows users):

Tips regarding the lastest Java Update (Java 1.6_*)
Multiple versions of Java installed on the same computer:
With the latest Java Update (1.6_*) of Sun Microsystems you could encounter the following message when executing applets (e.g. Drawing Upload, Multi Download, Multi Upload, Online Edit, Viewer):
This message means that the latest version Java 1.6_* is installed, however, an older version which is installed on your computer too is being run. You can configure your Java runtime environment in order to avoid this message. Please proceed with the following steps:
- Open Windows "Control Panel".
- Double click on "Java". Now the Java Control Panel opens.
- Go to the "Java" tab.
- Click on the "View" button at the "Java Applet Runtime Settings" section.
- Make ensure that only the check box for the most actual Java version (1.6.0_*) is activated in the "Enabled" column.
- Click "OK" nd then close the Java Control Panel.
Add-on warning displayed in Internet Explorer
If you are using Internet Explorer and have installed the latest Java Update, you may get the following warning when executing Java applets (e.g. Drawing Upload, Multi Download, Multi Upload, Online Edit, Viewer):
With the last Java update of Sun Microsystems Java is now installed as an add-on within your Internet Explorer browser. Due to this new behaviour the warning message is displayed when executing a Java applet. Avoid this warning by adding the domain conject.com to your trusted sites.

With Windows 2000 and certain versions of Windows XP, the Microsoft Virtual Machine (VM) is automatically installed in the Internet Explorer 6.x. In order to avoid conflicts between the Microsoft VM and the Java Runtime Environment of Sun, please disable the Microsoft VM as described below:
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Select "Internet Options" from the "Tools" menu.
- Scroll to the "Microsoft VM" item on the "Advanced" tab, if present.
- Deselect all options that correspond to "Microsoft VM".
- Make sure that the option "Java (Sun)" is enabled.

- Enable both checkboxes for "Use HTTP 1.1" and "Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections".

The display of the user interface of conjectPM is faulty! How can I align the screen resolution?
For an optimal usage of conjectPMpm. is an internet-based project space connecting project managers, architects, investors and all other participants of a construction project. we recommend a screen resolution of at least 1280 x 768 pixels. Minor resolutions will cause faulty display of the user interface. To align the screen resolution, proceed as follows:
- Click on "Start" in the left lower side of the Windows task bar.
- Choose "Control Panel" under the "Settings" item ("Control Panel" is located under "Start" when using Windows Vista).
- On the next screen open the "Display" option with a double click (open the "Personalization" item first and then click on "Display settings" when using Windows Vista).
- Go to the "Settings" tab (this step is not required when using Windows Vista).
- Use the slide control to set the value of the "Screen resolution" to 1280 by 768 pixels and click on "Apply" or "OK".
- Apply the confirmation message with "OK" and following with "Yes" to accept the changes at once.
